Happy New Year

Happy New Year.
However you arrived here, hopeful, exhausted, grieving, content, angry, numb, or somewhere in between, you are welcome.
A new year does not ask you to be healed, motivated, or ready.
It does not demand resolutions, reinvention, or proof that you are doing better.
It simply arrives as a pause. A quiet turning of the page.
For some, this year feels like relief.
For others, it feels heavy.
For many, it feels like nothing at all, and that is allowed too.
A new year can be a fresh start if you need one.
A chance to move forward, even slowly.
A moment to change something you have been carrying, or to finally rest from trying to change everything at once.
But it is also a blank story.
Not a finished plan.
Not a test you must pass.
You are given 365 days, not to get it perfect, but to practice.
To learn what fits and what does not.
To stumble, to pause, and to begin again without shame.
This year, you are allowed to move forward imperfectly.
You are allowed to grow quietly.
You are allowed to change your mind, take breaks, start late, or start over.
Most of all, you are allowed to love yourself through it.
To give yourself grace on the days you fall short.
To speak to yourself with the same kindness you would offer someone you care deeply about.
Let this year be less about becoming someone new,
and more about making space for who you already are.
Whatever this year brings you, I hope it brings peace, love, and the courage to pursue what matters most to you.
Happy 2026. May it be gentle, meaningful, and your best year yet.

A Moment to Reflect
The beginning of a new year often comes with expectations about who we should become. But sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves is permission to begin exactly where we are.
As this new year begins, what is one thing you're ready to carry with you, and one thing you're ready to gently leave behind?
