Life Is Too Short

We won't be here forever, yet somewhere along the way, many of us begin living as though we have unlimited time, unlimited chances, and unlimited energy for things that don't really matter.
We stress over people who don't value us. We replay arguments that won't matter a year from now. We worry about opinions that have no bearing on our lives, and we carry burdens that were never ours to carry.
In the process, we forget to actually live.
Life was never meant to be spent constantly frustrated, constantly proving yourself, or constantly chasing things that steal your peace.
Your time is valuable.
Your energy is valuable.
Your peace is valuable.
Spend them wisely.
Invest in the people who love you. Laugh often. Watch the sunset. Read the book. Have the long conversation. Do work that gives you purpose. Keep growing. Notice the quiet moments that so often become the memories we cherish most.
At the end of our lives, I don't believe any of us will wish we had spent more time worrying, arguing, or trying to impress the wrong people.
I think we'll wish we had loved more, laughed more, forgiven more, and remembered sooner that life was never meant to be so complicated.

A Moment to Reflect
Our days are finite, but it's easy to live as though we'll always have more time. The question isn't whether life is short. The question is whether we're spending it on what truly matters.
If you looked back on today a year from now, what would you hope you spent more time doing and less time worrying about?
